I know that you've got a lot to consider when choosing a web designer because the right designer is crucial in getting you the website you want. Passion gets mentioned a lot, as do skills and experience, not to mention producing w3c-standards-compliant XHTML. It won't surprise you to hear that I've got all that and then some...
You won't just get a graphic artist that can produce high quality layouts, banners, buttons and logos... no, you get that and a developer who can use technologies such as PHP, MySQL, XHTML and CSS to create hardworking websites. More good news is that I'm constantly building my skill set to keep up with evolving technologies - which is why I'm currently developing my knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX.
